Company came up with a “smart” case for AirPods Pro with many functions

As planned by the company, the gadget will be equipped with a display and a voice assistant. Siri will be able to open applications that can be controlled on the touch screen.

This is reported by the site Patently iPhone, which noticed a new patent registered by Apple. The document describes several scenarios for how Siri interacts with the AirPods Pro case and is accompanied by illustrations. It is also reported that device control is compatible with Appe Panсil, a proprietary stylus for tablets.

The images in pink ovals describe a voice command that is recorded by the headphones and activates the called function on the display. For example, you can ask to open “Maps” and the image will appear on the front of the case. Further control is carried out by the sensor. Incoming calls can be accepted or rejected, and the text can be read on the display.

Unfortunately, not all patented ideas are developed. There is a possibility that Apple thus “borrowed” the technology in advance. If the case generates interest among buyers, it will probably be created.
