OnePlus 11 will receive software support until 2028

The other day it became known that the flagship Samsung S23 smartphones will receive software support until 2028. By all indications, the Chinese company OnePlus will follow the example of the South Korean IT giant.

Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, announced that the brand's products will also receive extended support. And the first smartphone that will have a longer period of software support will be the new flagship OnePlus 11 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

The head of the company said that the model will receive a new operating system within four years, and security patches will be released five years to 2028. That is, Android 17 will be the last operating system for OnePlus 11.
