Electronics giant is already working on the development of the new chip for the unprecedented graphics accelerator RTX 4070

The fourth board listed in the RTX 40 series is expected to arrive in April, according to the latest information. This is revealed by the embargo directly from Nvidia. The specifications are already partially known.

Weaker models of GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards will be introduced to the market gradually, which is quite common for Nvidia. Due to high prices, many interested parties are waiting for more affordable options. The RTX 4070 should also be included among them. According to the recently published embargo, the planned release date is set for April of this year. This also matches other leaks that chip production has started this month.

We know from previous leaks that the RTX 4070 will offer 5,888 CUDA cores, for comparison, the most powerful 4070 Ti contains 7,680 CUDA cores. The base frequency will drop from 2310 MHz to 1920 MHz and the raw performance should be 29 TFLOPS. Memory size is preserved 12 GB GDDR6X with bus width 192 bits at transfer rate of 504 GB/s. Must drop TDP from 200W.

RTX 40 Series Graphics Parameters Introduced So Far

We still don't know the price, however RTX 4070Ti is currently sold for values starting at 22 thousand crowns. The novelty should be a little cheaper and the price will probably drop to less than twenty thousand crowns (Swedish currency).
