DJI Mini 2 SE: price drops, but loses 4K video
Company DJI introduced a new drone Mini 2 SE. It is based on the Mini 2 model, launched at the end of 2020. It maintains very compact dimensions and a low weight of 249 grams, thanks to which it fits into the less rigid category of drones in some countries. It has the same 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor capable of capturing 12MPx images, however, it can only record a maximum of 2.7K videos. That's the main difference from the Mini 2, which was also capable of 4K. The camera is placed on a 3-axis gimbal, ensuring stable footage.
The drone can remain airborne for a maximum of 31 minutes and can hover stably in winds up to 10.7 m/s (38.5 km/h). It uses DJI O2 streaming technology and offers classic control modes such as one-touch takeoff and landing, stable hovering in one place and returning home, we have QuickShots and Panorama functions. Priced at $369 (the Mini 2 is $449), the Mini 2 SE Fly More Combo is priced at $519 and will go on sale March 22nd. However, it is interesting that the product pages have disappeared from the manufacturer's website for the time being.
