ARC A380: the graphics accelerator integrated into an MXM board of Chinese origin

One of the Chinese OEMs, Shenzhen lingin Technology, showed off the Intel ARC Alchemist A380 notebook and workstation graphics card soldered onto an MXM board. However, this is not an A380M mobile chip, but a full-fledged desktop model.

ARC A380 is designed on MXM 3.1 Type A card with PCI-E Gen4 x8 interface. In the textolite there is an Intel ACM-G11 chip with eight XE cores and three GDDR6 chips, which provide 6 GB of video memory via a 96-bit bus. The card supports up to three HDMI ports and one DisplayPort.

The maximum operating frequency is 2000 MHz. The LM-A380-6G thermal pack is fixed at 50W, but can be expanded to 75W if desired. It is interesting that the distances between the holes in the cooling system correspond to those of the popular GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card.

The Intel ARC A380 MXM costs 2,199 yuan (about US$325), which is significantly more expensive than the regular A380.
