Chinese company Hisense has launched a PL1 laser projector. It is capable of projecting images up to 120 inches diagonally with 4K UHD resolution and 2000:1 contrast ratio.
The dimensions of the device are 531 × 335 × 120 mm, weight - 8.5 kg. The main feature of the Hisense PL1 is a DLP laser light source with a lifespan of 25,000 hours. It is capable of producing brightness of up to 2100 lumens, which allows you to view the projector even in a brightly lit room.
Under the hood is a quad-core MT9900 chipset. MEMC technology smooths motion artifacts that occur when viewing dynamic content. VIDAA U6.0 was chosen as the operating system. A pair of built-in speakers with a total power of 30 W and support for Dolby Atmos is responsible for the sound. The set of ports includes four HDMI and a pair of USB 3.0. There is a dual-band 802.11 ac Wi-Fi module.
The recommended price of the Hisense PL1 is 2,700 euros.
