NVIDIA apresenta GeForce RTX 4000 móvel

Brand presented the mobile graphics cards of the GeForce RTX line

NVIDIA introduced GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080, RTX 4070, RTX 4060 and RTX 4050 mobile graphics cards for gaming laptops.

They use the new Ada Lovelace graphics architecture, provide up to four times higher gaming performance compared to GeForce RTX 30 series mobile accelerators on Ampere architecture, and at the same time are up to three times more energy efficient.

The new GeForce RTX 40 series mobile graphics cards use fifth-generation NVIDIA Max-Q technologies, characterized, for example, by the use of energy-efficient GDDR6 memory and more productive memory controllers. In addition, the graphics cards support DLSS 3 image scaling technology, which increases gaming performance by up to two times.

The flagship mobile GeForce RTX 4090 is the successor to the mobile GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The basis of the new video card is the AD103 graphics processor with 9728 CUDA cores, operating in the frequency range from 1455 to 2040 MHz. The card received 16 GB of GDDR6 memory with support for a 256-bit memory bus. The video card will be able to work in the TDP range from 80 to 150 W. In terms of GPU and memory configuration, it repeats the desktop GeForce RTX 4080.

The mobile GeForce RTX 4080 is based on the AD104 c graphics chip with 7424 CUDA cores (slightly less than the desktop RTX 4070 Ti) running at frequencies from 1350 to 2280 MHz. The board received 12 GB of GDDR6 memory with 192-bit bus support and will work in the TDP range of 60 to 150 W.

The mobile GeForce RTX 4070 is based on the AD106 graphics chip with 4608 CUDA cores running at a frequency of up to 2175 MHz. The graphics card has an adjustable TDP range from 35 to 115 W. The same power consumption characteristics are declared for the mobile GeForce RTX 4060 and RTX 4050. The GeForce RTX 4070 model received 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with 128-bit bus support.

The mobile GeForce RTX 4060 received the same amount of memory and bus bitrate. Its AD107 graphics processor has 3072 CUDA cores. The chip operates in the frequency range from 1470 to 2370 MHz. The younger model GeForce RTX 4050 is based on the AD107 GPU with 2560 CUDA cores running at a frequency of 1605 to 2370 MHz. The card received 6 GB of GDDR6 memory with support for 96-bit bus resolution.

The GeForce RTX 4090 and GeForce RTX 4080 mobile graphics cards will be offered as part of premium gaming laptops starting at $1,999. Such systems will allow you to connect up to three external monitors with support for 4K resolution and at the same time will be able to provide gaming performance at the level of 60 frames per second. These laptops will go on sale starting February 8th.

Mobile GeForce RTX 4070, RTX 4060 and RTX 4050 will be offered as part of much more affordable laptops starting at $999. They will be capable of delivering performance of up to 80 frames per second when using 1440p resolution. Sales of these laptop models will start on February 22nd.
