MSI introduziu placas de vídeo RTX 3050 (GA107) com consumo de energia reduzido

RTX 3050 line graphics accelerator based on GA107 chip has reduced power consumption

MSI introduced RTX 3050 graphics cards based on the GA107 chip (instead of the GA106). The first batch of cards includes GeForce RTX 3050 VENTUS 2x 8G OCV1, RTX 3050 AERO ITX 8G OCV1/V and other models.

RTX 3050 graphics cards based on the GA107 graphics processor maintain all the main parameters, including 2560 CUDA cores, 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory and a 128-bit bus. The main difference from GA106 is that power consumption is reduced by 15 W (115 W). Also, new video cards use a 6-pin power connector instead of an 8-pin one.

The interfaces have also changed. The new GeForce RTX 3050 VENTUS 2x 8G OCV1 has two DisplayPort and HDMI instead of three DP and one HDMI. The V1 RTX 3050 AERO model has one DP, HDMI and DVI-D each.

Graphics cards should go on sale in the near future. The performance of the RTX 3050 (GA107) should be identical to the GA106 versions.
