A Intel está planejando uma grande atualização para o ARC Control

Semiconductor giant is already working on new drivers for ARC graphics cards

A few days ago it became known that Intel developers are working on new drivers for ARC video cards. The update should bring increased performance and, as recently seen, an improved control center for accelerators.

ARC Control Software for Intel Discrete Graphics and Iris Xe Integrated Graphics will receive a major update soon. As Linus Sebastian stated in a video on the Linus Tech Tips channel, the new patch will focus on abandoning the overlay, as well as the appearance of the program and the ergonomics of management.

These optimizations should make the utility more efficient - currently, the proprietary accelerator control center cannot boast of stability and reliability, especially when using the center in the background with running games. However, another journalist claims that users will get something in between the program's overlay mode and normal.

PC Games Hardware reported in the print version of its magazine that the update is scheduled for February. There is still no official data from Intel.
