CRUCIAL

Crucial lançou módulos DDR5 com capacidade de 24 e 48 GB

Brand launches first DDR5 modules with 24 and 48 GB capacity

The first DDR5 memory modules were mainly produced in two capacities: 16 or 32 GB. Over time, manufacturers began to release models with 8 GB. Now modules with a capacity of 24 and 48 GB appear on the market.

Crucial released the first OEM DDR5 cards for PCs and laptops. The PC RAM has model numbers CT24G56C46U5 and CT48G56C46U5, and the SO-DIMMs are CT24G56C46S5 and CT48G56C46S5. The new RAM has a frequency of 5600 MHz and a capacity of 24 and 48 GB, indicated by the first numbers of the numbers. Memory timings are the same as across the entire Crucial DDR5-5600 line — CL46.

With the new Crucial DDR5 memory modules, you can increase the amount of RAM in your system by 50% without taking up more physical connectors. This will be especially relevant for systems trained for resource-intensive tasks.

Crucial doesn't say when to expect new modules to go on sale. The cost is also not specified.
