ALIEWARE

Dell apresentou laptops Alienware com novos processadores Intel e RTX 40

New Alienware laptops with 13th Gen Intel Core HX processors and RTX 40 cards coming soon

Dell has introduced new Alienware laptops that will be available for purchase with the new 13th generation Intel Core HX processors and RTX 40 cards. The company emphasized that all laptops use the Legend 3 design.

The Alienware M18 can be purchased in the top configuration — with a 24-core Intel Core i9-13900hx processor and GeForce RTX 4090. There will also be versions with new generation AMD Ryzen chips and Radeon graphics for mobile devices. Two replacement DDR5 SO-DIMMs are available (up to 64GB) and the storage capacity can reach 9TB! Available panel options include 18-inch QHD 165Hz and FHD 480Hz monitors with dynamic frequency switching technology and support for G-SYNC and FreeSync. Added to all this is a full-size keyboard with additional CHERRY MX mechanical keys.

At Dell, special attention was paid to the cooling system of laptops. The company said the Alienware M18 uses Element 31 thermal interface material on both the CPU and GPU. The vapor chamber now covers the GPU and CPU. Fans with ultra-thin blades increase airflow by 25%. There are also now seven heatpipes (compared to four on the m17).

For gamers who need a slightly more compact computer, there is the M16 model. It offers many of the same technologies found in the M18.

The Alienware x16 is the brand's first 16-inch gaming laptop since 2004. It comes in an all-metal body with two woofers and creates spatial sound thanks to a six-speaker array with Dolby Atmos. Another highlight is the touchpad with RGB backlighting, which is 15% larger than the x17 R2. Keyboard backlight with CHERRY MX mechanical keys is also present.

Hardware: 13th Gen Intel Core HX processors and cards up to GeForce RTX 4090. AMD-based models are also announced.

Alienware x14 R2 is equipped with a new display, equipped with a 14-inch screen with QHD+ resolution and supports a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The new dual-fan design increases cooling efficiency using the Element 31 thermal interface. In the top configuration, the laptop will use Intel Core i7-13620H and RTX 4060.

The Alienware G16 and G15 offer a fresh approach to design. They will be available with elements in the style of the 80s. Both models have a G-mode key, exclusive macro keys for gaming functions and volume keys.

The G15 and G16 will be equipped with the latest hardware from Intel, AMD and NVIDIA. For the first time, the G series will receive a cooling system with evaporative chamber and Element 31 thermal interface.

Cost:

Alienware M18-Starting at $2,099;

Alienware M16-starts at $1,899;

Alienware X16-Starting at $2149;

Alienware X14-Starting at $1799;
