Watch S2: sapphire crystal glass, AMOLED panel and Bluetooth 5.2

Xiaomi, as part of today's presentation, presented the new smart watch Xiaomi Watch S2.

The Xiaomi Watch S2 debuted in 46mm and 42mm sizes. The case, made of stainless steel, is protected against water to a level of 5 ATM. The developers used a round AMOLED screen measuring 1.43 inches (46 mm model) and 1.32 inches (42 mm model), providing a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a brightness of up to 353 nits. The watch screen is covered with sapphire crystal.

The gadget supports more than a hundred training modes. There is also an NFC chip for contactless payments, Bluetooth 5.2 and a GPS geolocation module. In the arsenal of watches there are heart rate and temperature sensors, functions for determining the level of blood oxygenation and analyzing body composition are supported.

The built-in battery provides up to 12 days of battery life on standard charges for the older version and up to 7 days for the newest. The watch is available with silicone and leather straps.

As for cost, the 42mm Xiaomi Watch S2 costs between $143 and $172 (depending on the material of the band), while the 46mm model costs between $157 and $186.
