The Poco X5 Pro 5G smartphone has appeared in the IMEI database and the Indian bureau BIS, which indicates the imminent announcement of the Poco X5 line. The official presentation is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023, presumably at the end of February.
The Indian insider Mukul Sharma posted on his Twitter page some of the specifications of the Poco X5 Pro 5G. The blogger claims that the developers will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G single-chip system, and the power source will be a 5000 mAh battery that supports 67 W fast charging. According to other leaks, the gadget will be equipped with an IPS display that offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The series will include at least two models: Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro 5G, and they are expected to enter the global market. This is indicated by the last letter of the model number 22101320G (G stands for Global).
More details from other sources...The POCO X5 5G will support 67W fast charging out of the box. Previously, the company launched the X4 Pro 5G also with support for 67W fast charging.
The phone has also been spotted on IMDA's website, which doesn't confirm any details but hints that the phone could launch soon.
According to previous certifications, the design scheme of the device and the details of the Wi-Fi standard of the X5 5G are already known. The listing suggests that the device will have a rectangular camera module on the back, as well as having a 5,000mAh battery. Furthermore, the FCC listing confirmed that the phone will support multiple 5G bands including n5, n7, n38, n41, n77, and n78. It will run MIUI 14 out of the box, which may be based on Android 13.
Some other leaked details about the X5 5G include the Snapdragon 778G Plus platform and an IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate support.
