MSI
MSI is getting ready to release an updated version of its Titan GT77 gaming laptop, according to Notebookcheck. Apparently, outwardly, the novelty from the current model will not be much different. The main changes will be related to the filling. The updated model will receive 13th generation Intel Core mobile processors, as well as GeForce RTX 40 series graphics.
The new MSI Titan GT77, which should be presented next January, will feature a 17.3-inch Mini-LED display with 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, in addition to a 3ms response time in Overdrive mode. The current version of the laptop based on Intel Alder Lake processors is equipped with a 4K display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen on the upgraded model will not only offer a higher refresh rate, it will also receive DisplayHDR1000 certification and have 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage.
It is very likely that the updated MSI Titan GT77 will be based on the Raptor Lake-HX mobile processors, which are also expected to be announced next month. From MSI's promotional slides found on Notebookcheck, it is known that the new product will offer Intel Core i9 chips. To cool the components, an updated Cooler Boost Titan system will be used, which will include four fans and eight heatpipes.
The same slides say that the updated laptop model will receive "next generation GeForce graphics". Of course, we are talking here about the GeForce RTX 40 series mobile graphics cards, the announcement of which is expected at CES 2023. The current MSI Titan GT77 model belongs to the premium series of laptops that support a distributed TDP configuration of up to 250W ( CPU + GPU) .
The updated model MSI Titan GT77 will also receive a mechanical keyboard on Cherry MX switches, a 99 Wh battery, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 module and a high-quality Dynaudio audio system with two speakers and two subwoofers with a power of 2W each.
