Next MIUI 14 firmware will be completely ad-free

The web edition of MyDrivers has published interesting news that should please Xiaomi fans. According to the source, the Chinese IT giant may completely remove the advertising banners from the MIUI add-on.

Banners appear in various built-in applications such as the browser and media player. The display frequency depends on the cost of the model. On budget smartphones, there are a lot more ads.

According to MyDrivers, the upcoming MIUI 14 firmware will be completely ad-free. The shell will be unveiled on November 19, 2022, simultaneously with the flagship Xiaomi 13 smartphone series.
