The South Korean tech giant plans to make a number of big improvements to the upcoming foldable flagship Galaxy Z Fold5. According to web resource Gadgettendency, the new model will receive a thinner and lighter body than its predecessor, while the screen size will remain the same. In addition, the smartphone will receive a branded pen.
Some innovations may be implemented as early as this year. In particular, the Galaxy Z Fold4 was supposed to have a more powerful camera, while the manufacturer wanted to increase the strength of the case and reduce the thickness of the gadget. Developers failed to achieve these goals in 2022. But there is hope that the Fold5 will include a digital pen and an improved camera.
By the way, Samsung's press service reported on the growing popularity of the Fold and Flip models. iPhone users in their 20s and 30s are said to be four times more likely to switch to Samsung's folding flagships than to all-in-ones. As for Galaxy Z owners, 90% of them do not intend to go back to traditional models.
