OPPO has started accepting pre-orders for the Reno 9 family of smartphones, and the new items will go on sale on November 24th. Meanwhile, the brand's official store on the JD website has published some features of the Reno 9 Pro+ top model.
Recall that the previous model OPPO Reno 8 Pro+, announced on May 23, 2022, was offered in two configurations: 8GB / 256GB and 12GB / 256GB. The new Reno 9 Pro+ in the minimum configuration will get 16GB of RAM and a 256GB flash drive. The older version will have the same amount of RAM and 512GB of flash storage.
As for the single-chip system, the model will be built on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, capable of operating at a frequency of 3.19GHz. The predecessor was based on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor with a maximum frequency of 2.85 GHz. So the Reno 9 Pro+ will be more productive.
The flagship will be powered by a 4700mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. The device will also be equipped with a 50W Sony IMX890 main module.
In addition to the Reno 9 Pro+, OPPO is preparing the Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro models.
