Branded Smart TVs will take advantage of cloud gaming services, including Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now

Samsung has announced that more Smart TVs will take advantage of cloud gaming services, including Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now. These services will soon be available on Smart TVs from the South Korean company that were manufactured in 2021, and already during the next week.

Samsung launched a few months ago a TV hub for gaming, and initially only for its 2022 Smart TVs and monitors. With it came access to Xbox Cloud Gaming, Stadia and GeForce Now.

"When the Samsung Gaming Hub launched for 2022 Smart TVs earlier this year, the number one question we got was when will cloud gaming come to my 2021 TV? Today, we are happy to share with our eager fans that they will be able to play the games they love before the year is out." revealed Mike Lucero, product manager for gaming at Samsung.

The gaming hub featured on Samsung's 2022 TVs won't make its way to 2021 models. However, individual apps will be available next week. Among them we will have Xbox Cloud Gaming, Nvidia GeForce Now, Amazon Luna, Utomik, Blacknut and Antstream Arcade.

Most gamepads that work via Bluetooth connection will be supported. It will be enough to connect a compatible TV to the Internet and download the corresponding applications from the Samsung application store. Note that it will be possible to play in 4K with GeForce Now for those who have the RTX-3080 offer.
