What will the Galaxy S23 have different?

Literally a few hours ago, the first renders of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus hit the internet, which revealed a pretty fundamental design change on the back, from which the camera island was supposed to disappear. Now we also have the Ultra version. But you would hardly distinguish it from the current flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra.

If you put the two devices side by side, you can differentiate them mainly by two things. Coming to the Galaxy S23 Ultra it will apparently have a slightly more protruding camera lens and the side frame should be a little flatter. The current S22 Ultra goes a long way. Overall dimensions should be 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.8 millimeters. The novelty will therefore be a little thinner and wider.

But Samsung's decision to unify the series is more or less understandable. It won't be clear until next year that Galaxy S phones belong to the same family, which (purely from a design point of view) is not clear now and the layman can easily get lost in the markings.
