Model A1+ with a price of just $85

In parallel with the presentation of the flagship Xiaomi 12T smartphone series, Xiaomi, without much emotion, has launched the budget smartphone Redmi A1+ with a price tag of just $85.

The new model is based on a MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor clocked at up to 2 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8300 graphics accelerator. LPDDR4X RAM amount is 2 or 3GB, eMMC 5.1 flash drive capacity is 32GB. Storage capacity can be expanded with a microSD card slot up to 1TB.

Redmi A1+ is equipped with a 6.52-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution (1600 × 720 pixels), 60Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. A teardrop notch at the top of the display houses a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls. The smartphone's rear camera includes an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture with an additional 0.3-megapixel sensor. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel.

The 5000mAh battery with support for 10W wired fast charging provides up to 30 hours of battery life on calls and up to 22 hours of video playback.

The smartphone's specs also include Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, two SIM card slots, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is running Android 12 Go Edition. Body color – light blue, light green and black.
