Surface Studio 2 Plus has only one configuration. The system is based on an Intel Core i7-11370H mobile processor with four cores, eight threads, a frequency of up to 4.8 GHz and a TDP of 45 watts. This chip belongs to the 11th generation of Core processors (Tiger Lake). Why the company didn't use at least the latest Alder Lake series processor is unclear.
The mobile GeForce RTX 3060 with 6GB of memory is responsible for the graphics subsystem here. The Surface Studio 2 All-in-One PC offers 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD.
The main advantage of Microsoft Surface Studio 2 Plus is the screen. The computer received a 28-inch PixelSense touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 4500 × 3000 pixels. It supports Dolby Vision imaging technology. You can interact with the screen using a digital pen.
The novelty equipment also includes three USB Type-C connectors with Thunderbolt 4 support, a pair of USB Type-A 3.1, a 3.5 mm audio output and a gigabit network adapter. The manufacturer also claims support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless standards, a 1080p webcam, and a pair of Dolby Atmos-powered microphones and speakers for the Surface Studio 2 Plus.
The company has priced the Surface Studio 2 Plus at $4,300. The All-in-One PC also includes the Surface Pen, keyboard and mouse.
