Dell introduced the Latitude 7230 Rugged Extreme laptop with an enhanced level of protection.
This tablet is MIL-STD 810H certified, resistant to water and dust (IP65), temperatures from -29 to 63 degrees and can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.2 meters.
It is based on Intel Alder Lake processors, has up to 32GB RAM and up to 2TB SSD. The 12-inch screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a maximum brightness of 1200 cd/m2. You might also notice an 11 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, a 5G or 4G modem depending on the version, a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A, a microSD slot, RJ45, HDMI, RS-232 , a barcode scanner. There is also a branded connector for connecting various accessories.
Separately, it is worth mentioning two batteries with a capacity of 36.5 W with the possibility of hot swapping. The novelty weighs 1.26 kg. Dell has yet to release a price and sales will begin at the end of the year.
