New iOS 16.0.3 update is now available

Apple has released the iOS 16.0.3 update. MacRumors writes about it.

The update is available for all iOS 16 compatible devices. According to the checklist, it fixes various system crashes and errors on iPhone 14 smartphones. Among them:

-Missing or delayed calls and notifications on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max

-Low microphone sensitivity during CarPlay calls on iPhone 14

-Slow Camera Startup or Slow Switching Between Camera Modes on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max

-Mail app crash after receiving emails of a certain type.

No other changes or corrections are known. Apple apparently hasn't fixed the flashing dark spots that users of some iPhones have experienced after upgrading to iOS 16. For users upgrading from iOS 16.0.2, the latest update weighs about 1GB.
