The new iPhone SE, which will only be released in 2024, will finally get a new design with a 6.1-inch LCD screen. This was said by Ross Young, founder of research firms Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch.
According to him, we are talking about a screen with a notch, but it is not clear if it will be Dynamic Island, the good old fringe, or just a cutout for the front camera, as in most Android smartphones. Given that we've already heard rumors and predictions about the side Touch ID scanner on the new iPhone SE, the latter option could also be the case.
We've also heard more than once that the iPhone XR will serve as the basis for the new generation iPhone SE, which is consistent with the information about the display's characteristics.
Through his work, Young has access to screen-related information, so he often knows more than the average inmate. He described Google's foldable smartphone, some of Samsung's and Apple's flagships, and various other devices.
