A China está preparando uma nova placa gráfica de jogos que suportará todas as APIs modernas

Chinese manufacturer plans to launch graphics accelerator compatible with all existing APIs

Chinese manufacturers create not only x86 processors, but also video cards. And although they are not very powerful yet, but soon everything will change. Shanghai-based chipmaker Muxi aims to launch China's first gaming GPU by 2025.

At the moment, solutions from Chinese manufacturers are at the level of the GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti. However, Muxi intends to catch up with them. In January, the company already launched its first heterogeneous GPU, which uses a 7nm process technology. However, it was intended for artificial intelligence tasks.

The new graphics chip is credited with supporting all modern APIs and rendering methods, although it remains unclear whether there will be support for hardware-level ray tracing and proprietary upscaping.

By the way, Innosilicon has its own versions of gaming GPUs - Fantasy 1 and Fantasy 2 models. The company is also working on Fantasy 3, where the ray tracing will be. And Zhaoxin plans to improve the integrated graphics of its processors in next-generation solutions.
