EPSON

Brand presented new 4K gaming projector

Epson has unveiled a new 4K projector designed for gamers looking for a "bigger, more immersive gaming experience". The Home Cinema 2350 is capable of projecting up to 500 inches onto a screen or wall.

According to the developers, the new feature provides a rich feature set in a "portable form factor", including industry-leading low latency, incredibly bright video and support for 4K content, as well as a large screen size. According to Epson, this "makes players feel like they're in the real world."

The Home Cinema 2350 uses Epson's 3LCD technology, capable of displaying 100% of the RGB color space in every frame. The brightness of 2800 lumens makes it possible to view the image even in the presence of ambient light. Furthermore, instead of using the lasers that have been popular recently for lighting, the novelty uses a highly efficient lamp, which the user himself can replace if necessary.

The projector offers 4K UHD resolution (3840 × 2160 dots) with 60Hz screen refresh rate. If you select 1080p resolution, you can increase the frequency up to 120 Hz. There is support for HDR10 and HLG technologies, a multiplayer mode that allows you to split the image into several independent fragments. The delay is less than 20 ms (it is not yet known what kind of resolution we are talking about in this case).

The Home Cinema 2350 supports a 60% up/down lens shift for easy adjustment when mounted on shelves, coffee tables and other surfaces at different screen heights. The system runs on Android TV and is equipped with Wi-Fi, which provides instant access to thousands of entertainment and gaming apps, including Netflix, Prime Video and Disney Plus.

The system uses the power of Google's voice assistant, there's an HDMI port supporting ARC (Audio Return Channel) technology to connect to the console, a 10-watt mono speaker, and the ability to connect additional audio devices using Bluetooth. Game news sales have already started, US recommended price is $1299.

Epson isn't the only company delighting gamers with state-of-the-art projectors. BenQ recently released the TH690ST 4LED short-throw gaming projector.
