Epson announced the WorkForce WF-2930 and WorkForce WF-2960 multifunction devices (MFPs) for everyday office use. New items combine printer, scanner, copier and fax functions.
The WorkForce WF-2930 model uses MicroPiezo technology. The maximum print resolution is 5760 × 1440 DPI (dots per inch). The speed reaches 10 pages per minute in monochrome and 5 pages per minute in color. The equipment includes a 1.44-inch display.
The WorkForce WF-2960 version is based on the PrecisionCore system. The print resolution reaches 4800 × 1200 DPI. The speed is 14 pages per minute when printing monochrome documents and 7.5 pages per minute when working with color materials. The size of the integrated screen is 2.4 inches diagonally. A 150-sheet paper tray is provided.
Both new products support automatic two-sided printing. The device includes a Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n wireless adapter with Wi-Fi Direct support and a USB port. The WorkForce WF-2960 version is also equipped with a 10/100 Ethernet controller for wired connection to a computer network.
The WorkForce WF-2930 and WorkForce WF-2960 multifunction devices are now available to order for US$109 and US$159, respectively.
