Projector 2S: It is designed for use in home theaters and also for those who enjoy video games

The Chinese company Xiaomi has announced a projector called Projector 2S, designed for use in home theaters. The novelty will be offered at an estimated price of US$470 as part of a crowdfunding program.

The device corresponds to the Full HD format, that is, it offers a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Claimed to be 100% coverage of the Rec.709 color space. Brightness reaches 850 ANSI lumens.

The novelty supports omnidirectional auto correction, whether front projection, side projection or ceiling installation. The equipment includes an audio system with two 1.75-inch speakers with a power of 10 watts.

The projector has a special game mode with 40ms delay. There is an HDMI 2.1 interface, a USB 2.0 port and a standard 3.5mm audio jack.

The device is based on the Amlogic T982 processor with four Cortex-A55 cores operating at a clock frequency of up to 1.9 GHz. The equipment includes 2 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 16 GB.
