Legion Y70: the brand's new gaming smartphone will come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 at 3.2 GHz and AMOLED FHD+ panel

Internet sources have published press images of the Legion Y70 smartphone, soon to be announced by Chinese company Lenovo. The powerful device will be aimed primarily at gamers.

“The heart of the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with eight cores clocked at up to 3.2 GHz. LPDDR5 RAM amount will be up to 16GB, UFS 3.1 flash drive capacity is up to 512GB.

Buyers will be able to choose between versions in Ice Soul White (white), Titanium Crystal Gray (dark grey) and Flame Red (bright red). On the back is a triple camera with a 50-megapixel main unit with optical stabilization, a 13-megapixel module with wide-angle optics and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

We are talking about the presence of a 6.58-inch AMOLED FHD + screen with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The front camera will receive a 13-megapixel sensor. Power will be provided by a 4800mAh battery with support for 68-watt fast charging.

The smartphone will ship with the Android 12 operating system, complemented by the proprietary ZUI user interface. There is no information on the estimated price at the moment, but it is known that the announcement of the novelty will take place on August 13th.
