A project for a new personal vehicle in the form of motorized inline skates called "Airtrick" has appeared on Indiegogo. They are positioned as a convenient alternative to e-bikes, scooters and scooters due to their incomparably smaller size. Airtrick rollers are designed as a shoe accessory, weigh 3kg per pair and fit in a small bag.
The rollers are based on a 6063 aluminum plate, have wear-resistant rubber wheels, silicone straps for attachment to the shoes and rear heel brake. The 150W motor can propel the Airtrick up to 27 km/h and can travel up to 15 km on a single charge. A wireless remote is used for control.
The Airtrick's major downside is that they can only support 100kg of weight and are therefore unlikely to be suitable for all types of weights even in the US they are made for. On the other hand, the design has an IPX3 protection class, so you can safely ride in a puddle on these electric skates. It is planned to release two models, A1-Pro and A1-Ultra, priced at $459 and $569 respectively.
