Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7: images of two prototype models have appeared on the net

Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones are expected in early October. The pre-sale will open on the same day. But even before that moment, images of two prototype models appeared on the net. Although they are not retail versions, and their software is different from what will be in the finished models, the design can already be appreciated.

The source posted a video where he showed a comparison of the appearance of the two models. As noted, the new lineup will receive a telephoto lens with a periscope, but only on the Pixel 7 Pro model. Thus, the older version will be equipped with three cameras. It is credited with 12GB of RAM, while the regular version of the Pixel 7 will only receive 8GB.

There are also visual differences. The Pixel 7 Pro has polished edges, which is not the case with the regular model. There are also size changes, but they are minimal. The Pixel 7 Pro is 0.20mm thinner than the Pixel 6 Pro, but the camera bump remains the same at 11.50mm. The new model is 0.78 mm wider and 1 gram heavier than its predecessor. There's a curved screen, but it's not that pronounced.

The source did not specify battery capacity, screen resolution and some other specifications. However, it's safe to assume that the Pixel 7 Pro's screen might have a resolution of 1440p compared to the Pixel 7's 1080p. It's also unclear whether the sixth-row bugs and issues will be repeated.

Pricing hasn't been revealed either, but it's likely to be higher than the Pixel 6.
