Echoes: new mystery thriller mini-series now available

Echoes is a new mystery thriller mini-series making its debut on Netflix's streaming platform. The series was created by Vanessa Gazy and stars Michelle Monaghan, Matt Bomer and Karen Robinson.

Echoes is a mystery thriller about two identical twins, Leni and Gina, who share a dangerous secret. Since childhood, the two have secretly switched identities, culminating in double lives as adults: they share two homes, two husbands and a daughter, but their perfectly choreographed world collapses when one of the sisters disappears.

The first reviews point to the lack of intensity of this series, which has a story that allowed much more suspense, thriller and action to be present.

Gina is a bestselling author who lives in an airy Los Angeles mansion, Leni runs a horse farm in her hometown of Mt Echo, Virginia. Both are married to handsome men – Gina to Charlie (Daniel Sunjata), Leni to Jack (Matt Bomer). But they are more devoted to each other, carrying their daily private lives in a shared virtual diary, until the day Leni disappears in an alleged robbery, pulling Gina back to Mt Echo.
