RICOH
Ricoh has announced the launch of the TW-2(image above), a specialized accessory for the Theta X camera, which allows you to shoot underwater with the Theta X panoramic camera.
The main features of the Ricoh TW-2 aquabox:
Compact dimensions and durable case with dimensions of 162×77.5×68 mm and weight of 230 grams. The case is protected according to the JIS 8 / IPX8 standard, allowing you to shoot at a depth of up to 40 meters for 60 minutes.
According to a press release, special attention was paid to the lens section during the development of the aquabox. To reduce scratches, this piece is made of hard acrylic resin and contains an anti-reflective coating. A special coating helps to increase light transmission, eliminating reflections.
The Ricoh TW-2 aquabox has camera controls to improve its usability. During underwater shooting, operators can turn the camera on and off, as well as switch between photo and video modes and press the shutter button.
In addition, the aquabox is reported to have a 1/4'' metal socket, which allows you to install it on a photographic tripod or attach it to scuba gear.
The new Ricoh TW-2 aquabox is available now for $350.
Let me also remind you that today Vivo announced two new mid-range smartphones - Vivo V25 and V25 Pro. The new phones prioritize style and photography features. The V25 series, according to the manufacturer's positioning, should provide users with flagship-level high photographic performance at an affordable cost.
