Company develops adapter kit that allows you to connect video devices to laptops in six different ways
Today's laptop computers are increasingly minimalist in terms of connectivity. This allows them to have a reduced thickness and more space for the other components, but it has at least one disadvantage: compatibility with many pre-existing video devices is lost.
To solve this, Hama created the 6in1 Monitor Adapter Kit, a kit of three adapters that allows you to connect video devices to laptops in six different ways. This kit is also useful for connecting a modern laptop to older devices such as video projectors with limited connectivity.
Using the adapters of the 6in1 Monitor Adapter Kit is very easy: just connect one or several of them in series to the notebook in order to obtain the desired video output. The kit includes three adapters: a USB-C to Mini-DisplayPort, a Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI and an HDMI to VGA. Thus, it is possible to connect them in six different ways, depending on the notebook's video output and the desired new connection: in addition to the three combinations obtained using the adapters individually, they can be connected in series resulting in USB-C to HDMI, USB-C to VGA or Mini-DisplayPort to VGA.
When it comes to supported resolutions, the 6in1 Monitor Adapter Kit doesn't disappoint: it supports 4K (3840x2160) at 60Hz on the Mini-DisplayPort and HDMI connections, and Full HD (1920x1080) at 60Hz on the VGA. And to maximize the adapters' durability, the housings are made from aluminum, the connectors are gold-plated, and the USB-C cable is made from a flexible material that doesn't tangle easily.
