Chinese company Oppo officially announced the Reno8 4G smartphone with ColorOS 2.1 operating system based on Android 12. The device received a 6.43-inch Full HD+ screen with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
The screen has a small hole in the upper left corner for the 32MP selfie camera. The triple rear camera combines a 64-megapixel main unit, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor to gather information about the depth of the scene.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor developed by Qualcomm is installed. This chip contains eight Kryo 265 compute cores with a clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz and an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator.
The device carries on board 8GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 256GB. There is a Bluetooth 5.x adapter, a microSD card slot and a fingerprint scanner. Power is provided by a 4500mAh rechargeable battery with 33-watt SuperVOOC charging.
Oppo Reno8 4G is available for an estimated price of US$340 in Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black.
