Company launches dual camera video smart doorbell
Modern “smart” doorbells, capable of showing who is at the door, or even communicating with the person in question, are nothing new on the market, among other things. However, most of them only have one camera in terms of hardware. Although this camera has a very wide range, it rarely manages to cover all the necessary space. Especially around the feet and the mat. The doorbell tries to solve this problem
As the name suggests, the device has a two-camera snapshot. One is directed frontally, the other downwards. Together they cover all the important space in front of the door. The device will mostly be appreciated by people who have bad experiences leaving packages on the doormat. For the Kickstarter campaign the head of Lindo's development team directly states that they were the motivation for the production of this doorbell thefts of unregistered packages directly from the door.
The Lindo Dual Camera Video Doorbell features, among other things, a fixed connection to electricity, Wi-Fi connectivity, 2K resolution, people and packet detection, as well as an IP67 protection standard. As part of the campaign, it can be purchased for 99 dollars, ie approx. 2,400 CZK. So this dual camera doorbell should cost twice as much as the standard one.
