Asus has officially announced that it will hold a conference on September 19, which will introduce the fastest Android smartphone called Asus ROG Phone 6D.
Compared to the ROG Phone 6, the biggest change for the ROG Phone 6D is the replacement of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+. The Asus ROG Phone 6D will be the world's first Dimensity 9000+ gaming phone. This is the most productive MediaTek platform.
The Cortex-X2 core frequency is increased to 3.2 GHz and the platform is also equipped with three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.85 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores. In terms of benchmarks, the Dimensity 9000+ SoC has over 1300 points in the single-core Geekbench test and over 4300 points in the multi-core test. On AnTuTu, the AnTuTu score of the new Asus ROG exceeded 1.146 million, which allowed it to set an absolute record.
Other parameters of ROG Phone 6D are expected to be similar to ROG Phone 6, including Samsung E4 display with 165Hz refresh rate, 50MP main camera (Sony IMX766), 5000mAh battery, and so on.
The gadget is also expected to use the latest liquid cooling system and become the true king of Android smartphones in terms of performance.
