SAMSUNG

Galaxy S23

Galaxy S23 will not have Exynos processing base, but Qualcomm

The information is not exactly new, as for a few weeks there has been talk of the possibility of Samsung launching all the Galaxy S23 series equipment with Qualcomm processors, and Exynos being completely out of the equation.

If this until now was just a rumor, here comes the almost confirmation from the head of Qualcomm. Is that Cristiano Amon, current CEO of Qualcomm, confirmed the presence of Snapdragon chips in all models of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.

Until now, European buyers have had to settle for a new, high-end Galaxy S powered by an Exynos processor, knowing that Samsung's chip has raw performance and is even less efficient than its Qualcomm counterpart, the Snapdragon.

So it will likely be quite different in 2023 with the launch of the different S23 models. Of course, the Galaxy S23 should arrive equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and that's for all regions of the world. Finally.
