Model Z40S Pro has Full HD+ AMOLED panel and Snapdragon 8+ processing base

The Nubia brand has officially announced the flagship gaming smartphone Z40S Pro based on Android 12 operating system (with MyOS 12 proprietary user interface) and Qualcomm hardware platform.

The device is equipped with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch layer response rate of 480Hz. Declared 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and the brightness reaches 1000 cd/m2.

The front camera (f/2.45) has a resolution of 16 million pixels. The rear camera received a 64-megapixel main unit with a Sony IMX787 sensor and optical stabilization, a 50-megapixel wide-angle module (116°) with a Samsung JN1 sensor, and an 8-megapixel periscope unit with optical stabilization.

The Snapdragon 8+ processor with eight cores operating at a frequency of up to 3.2 GHz is involved. The amount of RAM reaches 18 TB and the pendrive capacity varies from 128 GB to 1 TB.

The equipment includes an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.2 Wi-Fi adapters and a USB Type-C port. Dimensions are 161.27 × 73.95 × 8.05 mm, weight – 205 g. Versions with a 5000 and 4600 mAh battery and fast charging of 80 and 120 W, respectively, are presented.

The Nubia Z40S Pro starts at $500 and goes up to $1,000.
