Honor Pad 8: 2k panel and 8GB of RAM

The manufacturer that has been linked to Huawei for many years has announced a new tablet, and I'm talking about the new Honor Pad 8. It is a device with a 12-inch screen with 2K resolution, with 2000x1200 pixels and a maximum brightness of 350 nits , and has 8 stereo speakers.

Inside the Honor Pad 8 we have a Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 680, which comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Still inside, we have a 7250mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging.

For photography, we only have a sensor at the rear with 5MP and at the front a sensor also with 5MP. On the software side, it leaves the factory running Magic UI 6.1 which is based on Android 12.

From a design point of view, the Honor Pad 8 can count on a metallic material body, a screen with very generous bezels and in three colors (Mint Green, Dawn Blue and Dawn Gold).

Pricing and Availability Honor Pad 8...Honor's new tablet is now available for pre-order in China, while the official debut in the Asian country is scheduled for next Friday, July 29th.

There are three versions that users can choose from:

4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage at 1,499 yuan (equivalent to about 220 euros)

6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage at 1,799 yuan (equivalent to around 260 euros)

8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage at 1,999 yuan (equivalent to about 290 euros)

HONOR will also sell a case with an integrated keyboard priced at 279 yuan (about 40 euros).

At the moment, there is no information about a possible sale of the tablet in Europe.
