iPhone 14 will have improved hardware performance

With each new generation of the iPhone, Apple significantly increases their performance. This is because every year the Cupertino company launches a new chip that always guarantees a superior boost compared to the previous generation. In the Pro models of the iPhone 14 this will remain, but there will be something that will increase its performance even more.

And before continuing, if we believe the latest information, the iPhone 14 series equipment will arrive with at least 6GB of RAM, and that alone is good news. However, while non-Pro models will continue to use the usual LPDDR4X memories, Pro models will migrate to LPDDR5 RAM, which are newer, faster and more energy efficient.

The new information that is being advanced by Digitimes, realize that the iPhone 14, which will have a 6.1-inch screen, as well as the 14 Max, which will have a 6.7-inch screen, will use LPDDR4X memories. LPDDR5 memories will be reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro, with a 6.1-inch screen and for the 14 Pro Max, which will have a 6.7-inch screen.

This means that Apple's new smartphones will see a huge performance boost if compared to the previous generation models... at least the Pro ones. The same Digitimes rumor says that only the Pro models will be entitled to use the company's new processor, the A16 Bionic, while the non-Pro models will use the same chip as the iPhone 13, the A15 Bionic, slightly modified. 

The new A16 Bionic, combined with LPDDR5 RAM, can give a significant performance boost to Apple's premium models. That's because, in layman's terms, the faster the RAM, the faster the processing speed. Faster RAM increases the speed at which memory transfers information to various components.

However, non-Pro models of the iPhone 14 should not have a much higher performance compared to the iPhone 13 series equipment, as they will use the same processor and the same RAM.
