Model X Fold: 2K+ AMOLED internal panel, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 48+12+2MP Zeisss quad camera

Chinese company Vivo has released official images of the X Fold smartphone. This device, made on the Qualcomm platform, will be presented on April 11.

X Fold is Vivo's first smartphone with a flexible display. The device is equipped with a 2K+ AMOLED E5 display with 120Hz refresh rate. This panel folds inside the case, which protects it from damage when used.

The novelty received a complex hinge mechanism that allows the body halves to bend without play. On the outside is a 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both monitors are equipped with a fingerprint scanner.

The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which contains eight processing cores with a clock speed of up to 3.0 GHz. The amount of RAM is 12 GB. Versions with a flash drive with a capacity of 256 and 512 GB will be on sale.

The images show a quad main camera, created in partnership with experts at Zeiss. It combines a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 12-megapixel module with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel periscope module.
