Nintendo continues to make NES and SNES games available on its Nintendo Switch Online service, and this time the games are Super Nintendo's spectacular Earthworm Jim 2 and NES's Dig Dug II and Mappy-Land.
Among the 3 games, the highlight naturally goes to Earthworm Jim 2, one of the games I played the most on Super Nintendo, and that occupied me for many hours in my youth. Here is the "game description":
Return to the wacky world of Earthworm Jim! In this wild platformer released for the Super NES console in 1995, where the player puts on his super suit and takes on the role of Jim, the annelid with attitude! The plot begins after Jim's successful rescue of Princess What's-Her-Name and her less successful attempts to woo her immediately afterwards. Just when it looked like the princess would change her mind, the evil Psy-Crow attacked and kidnapped her, eager to claim the crown for himself. Now it's up to Jim to stop their marriage, following his path from planet to planet. But he's not alone this time—his friend Snott is along for the ride.
