The ThinkPad X13s is the company's first laptop to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 processor
However, this is not the first laptop the company has come with a Qualcomm chip, as in 2020 the company announced the Yoga 5G, which was announced with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx.
This Thinkpad X13s has a 13-inch IPS screen with Full HD resolution, and optionally can be touch. As expected, it leaves the factory running Windows 11 and is equipped with 32GB of LPDDR4X RAM, a storage unit of up to 1TB PCIe SSD, Wi-Fi 6E and a 5 megapixel webcam. In addition, this model weighs only 1.06 kg and is only 1.34 cm thick. Despite its thinness and lightness, the ThinkPad X13s doesn't need a fan and is particularly quiet, thanks to the Qualcomm processor engraved in the 5nm process whose TDP barely reaches 9W.
The extreme energy sobriety of the ThinkPad X13s will allow it to achieve 28 hours of autonomy, which is much more than the 20 hours displayed by the latest MacBook Pro M2.
The ThinkPad X13s will be marketed in the United States from May at a price of 1100 dollars and should be offered a little later in Europe for around 1400 euros.
