Brand announced the series of solid state drives for the Internet of Things and 5G communication systems

Apacer announced the SH250 and PH920 series of solid state drives with increased durability. The novelties can be used in smart devices for the Internet of Things (AIoT), 5G communication systems and other industrial equipment where a high level of reliability is required.

All solutions use proprietary SLC-liteX technology, which allows you to increase the number of write/erase (P/E) cycles up to 100,000. 3D NAND flash memory chips are used.

The SH250 family with SATA 3.0 interface includes models of the SFF and M.2 2280 standards. The capacity in both cases reaches 320 GB. The declared speed of sequential reading of information is up to 560 MB / s, the speed of sequential writing is up to 520 MB / s.

PH920 series drives are M.2 2280 format and the PCIe 3.0 x4 interface is used for data exchange. The read speed reaches 1740 MB/s, the write speed is 1530 MB/s. The capacity ranges from 160 to 640 GB.

All devices support AES-256 encryption. The drives will be offered in standard and extended operating temperature versions from 0 to +70°C and -40 to +85°C respectively.
