APPLE

Supposed definitive rendering shows new generation of iPhone SE with larger screen and without the ''home'' button

The leaked image reveals a device that closely resembles its predecessor, but with a much more modern screen that almost reaches the sides of the phone without a separate home button. xleaks7 exclusively released the first render images based on CAD leaks on the third generation iPhone SE. The images reveal the familiar rounded-edge design of the earlier iPhone SE and iPhone 8, but combined with the close-edge display of the latest iPhones.

So, according to a recent leak, the iPhone SE will not inherit the angled design reintroduced in the iPhone 12, beyond which the phone dimensions will be the same as the iPhone SE 2020. The screen size, on the other hand, will grow significantly, and iPhone screen will reach 5.69 inches based on CAD leaks. However, the shape of the camera at the top of the screen is still not entirely reliable based on the leak.

As a whole, with the exception of the screen inherited from newer iPhones, the phone remarkably resembles the 2020 iPhone SE, and there's still only one camera on the handset, for example. The bottom of the phone has Apple's own Lightning connector, just like the manufacturer's other phones.

Apple is rumored to be announcing the release of the third generation iPhone SE this spring.
