Company Announces Line of Ares DDR5 Memory Modules and Kits

Lexar has announced Ares DDR5 memory modules and kits that will go on sale in the US and European markets in the first quarter of next year.

The series will include products operating at the frequency of 4800 MHz. The supply voltage is 1.1 V. The solutions will have a lifetime warranty.

The memory supports on-die ECC (Error Correction Code) error correction technology and has a power management integrated circuit (PMIC). This provides greater reliability and improves energy efficiency.

Full compatibility with 12th generation Intel Core processors is declared. The modules are equipped with an aggressively styled cooling radiator.

The capacity of the individual modules in the initial stage will be 16 GB. Apparently they will be available in sets of two with a total volume of 32GB. There is no official estimated price information at this time.
