Brand announced the Fritz! Box 4060, a powerful mesh router with WiFi 6 and fast wireless speeds

Support of the dect standard means that the router can also be used for Voice over IP (VoIP), so you can also make calls through the router. It supports up to six smart phones and/or home devices for this. It also has twelve antennas and, with the help of three bands, it reaches 2400 Mbit / s at ​​5 GHz twice under ideal conditions with WiFi 6. At 2.4 GHz it reaches a maximum of 1200 Mbit / s. When using WiFi 5, it's a little slower; so it runs at twice at 1733 Mbit / s at ​​5 GHz and at 800 Mbit / s at ​​2.4 GHz.

It also features an Ethernet connection supporting transfer speeds of 2.5 Gbit/s, as well as three Gigabit LAN connections. The USB port has USB 3.0 speeds (5 Gbit / s). Fritz! OS offers the option to set up a separate guest network, to enable parental controls and remote configuration options. Fritz! NAS provides NAS options through the router. You can easily connect the mesh router to other models to set up a larger network with good coverage. It is available now and has a suggested retail price of 259 euros.
