APPLE

iPhone 14 will have ''full display'' manufactured by LG Display

Just a few months ago, the current iPhone 13 was unveiled, and there are already rumors on the web about the next iPhone 14, which should be released in the fall of 2022. According to new data from Korean resource TheElec, the next generation of car-smartphones Apple's boss will lose the “eyebrow” but will receive a tiny round cutout for the front camera, which can also offer a higher resolution.

It is reported that the new round-cut displays, like most Android flagships, will go to the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. The production of OLED LTPO arrays for these devices will be handled by LG Display. The entry-level 6.06-inch iPhone 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max will have the familiar BOE beat screens. These smartphones retain the 60Hz refresh rate of the iPhone 13 and 13 mini.

As for the front camera, TheElec says the Pro versions of the iPhone 14 will have a 48MP selfie camera. No details about the sensor, other than its resolution, have yet been reported. There is also no information on whether the front cameras of the normal iPhone 14 will change.

In addition to the main series, the third generation iPhone SE is expected to be released in 2022. It is reported that the device will receive a similar design to the 2020 iPhone SE, but will be able to support 5G, which will be the only noticeable difference compared to its predecessor.
