Akasa

Brand announced the AK-PCCE25-02 network card for use in desktop computers and workstations

The solution will be on sale soon.

The new product meets the 2.5 Gigabit standard, that is, it offers bandwidth up to 2.5 Gbps. Other modes of operation are also supported – 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps.

The card has an unobtrusive design, which makes it suitable for use in cases with limited internal space. For installation, a PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot can be used.

The product is supported for Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, which allows you to transmit electrical energy along with data to a remote device over a standard twisted-pair cable over an Ethernet network. The network card itself has an additional SATA power connector.

In a computer case, the novelty will occupy only one expansion slot. It's about compatibility with desktops running Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. There is currently no estimated price information.
